Demonstration of environmental and climate benefit from use of propane as the refrigerant in the manufacture of Stand Alone refrigeration units.
The Project Activity is the transition from high-GWP refrigerants to a low-GWP refrigerant in stand-alone commercial refrigeration units manufactured. The units are all newly manufactured and assembled on a production line at the facilities and were previously manufactured with high-GWP refrigerants. Refrigerant is injected into the unit during this process using a high-pressure delivery system and then sealed within the unit.
